We all need a little motivating after eating too much over the Christmas holidays and after several lockdowns so why not get moving and complete a 5k route anywhere that suits you, any way that you desire… run, walk, scoot, skip, jump.
The rules are fun, simple and for a great cause. Complete your 5k, nominate 5 people and donate £5 to:

G.O.S.H Cheque Presentation…
Big step today (2nd March 2020) going back to Great Ormond Street Hospital, so many emotions coming to the surface but stepping back inside the hospital made us realise why we are doing what we are doing. So many children with rare diseases, illnesses and life limiting conditions are treated in this hospital with exceptional care.
Despite being diagnosed here Max had many happy memories as do we. We built strong friendships with the nurses and playworkers who also greeted us at the entrance today.
Thank you again for your continued support and donations to all of our fundraising pages and events.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices… (Christopher’s, Guildford)
Max spent his final days at Christopher’s Hospice in Guildford. When you first hear the word “hospice” you instantly think the worst but we are so glad that we decided to visit Christopher’s. What an amazing, calm, peaceful place. It’s almost like heaven on earth.
The staff here went the extra mile for us, they looked after Max’s symptom management so we could focus on our final moments as a family, they ensured that he suffered no pain and could slip away peacefully whilst in our arms.
We stayed at the hospice for a week after Max passed away, this really helped us to come to terms with what had just happened, we were able to see him when ever we wanted and had time to say our final goodbyes.
The staff at Christopher’s looked after us like we were their own family, they catered for our entire family and nothing was too much trouble. So as a thank you our first fundraiser was to Christopher’s Hospice. We raised £2,098.75 in memory of Max. Thank you for your kind, generous donations to such a wonderful place.
