Last week’s long run was great to start off with but I began to feel some discomfort to my left knee (I tore the ligaments in this knee a few years ago) 8km in… So marathon runners do you have any advice for exercises I need to be doing to strengthen my joints? Should I be wearing a support? I should probably warm up a little better in future too. I’ve also not done any other exercise this week (apart from walking) so I think I need to build up more strength before trying to do the long distances. Aside from that Nonsuch Park is a beautiful place to run around and lots of doggys too!!
