My Marathon Journey.. Day 1…Week 1 (Saturday 4th December 2021)
Today is the first run I’ve actually enjoyed. And the first run in a long time!
I’m training to get fit, to run a marathon! Not to lose weight. There’s such a difference in my mind set. I started with a nice slow pace and stopped because I was bored not because of tiredness… Going to need to find some podcasts and decent music playlists… And actually pay for my Spotify so the adverts don’t drive me mad. I’m training to finish, that’s the main objective. It’s a long road ahead, any advice is welcome. I’m a absolute beginner but anything is possible when you put your mind to it.
